Hi, I'm Barbara Leary
I have more than 25 years of experience helping leaders communicate with clarity, build trust, and guide their organizations through times of change. ​My background includes senior communication roles in Fortune 500 corporations, nonprofit organizations, and management consulting. In my work with nonprofits, I’ve supported organizations whose missions focus on children and families, clean energy, and the arts.
​
In addition to my consulting work, I serve as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University, where I teach graduate-level courses on writing and communication.
I hold a Master of Science in Positive Organizational Development and Change from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management. In serving my clients, I draw on evidence-based approaches including Intentional Change Theory, Appreciative Inquiry, and Prosci, in which I am certified. I also hold certifications in Teaching and Learning Effectiveness from Georgetown University and in Writing Workshop Facilitation from Amherst Writers & Artists.
